Abstract: Sampling and quantization are essential for A/D (analog-to-digital) conversion. Sigma-Delta quantization is a coarse quantization method, which uses oversampling to reduce the quantization noise. In this talk we formulate a Sigma-Delta quantization of linear time variant operators that has bounded and bandlimited Kohn-Nirenberg symbols. We build our results on the Operator Sampling Theorem of G.Pfander and D.Walnut. We derive upper bounds for the approximation error in the operator norm.
