Abstract: I will try to make this talk accessible to people without much background in the field, as an invitation to research in dynamics. The talk will include some results that have been obtained by earlier Bachelor theses here at Jacobs, generalizing earlier results of Stas Smirnov (Fields medalist of 2010).
