Abstract: The talk will summarize results obtained during the Research in Industrial Projects for Students (RIPS) program, that was held in 2010 in the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IPAM) at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). The work and the main results of the team I was part of will be summarized.
