Abstract: I will give the main steps of deriving the Paving Conjecture and consequently a couple of other Conjectures (Kadison-Singer, Bourgain-Tzafriri, Feichtinger) from the Marcus-Spielman-Srivastava result. I will follow Tao's blog on the subject, and earlier papers by Casazza and co-authors. The (now) less interesting but previously known fact that these and many other similar conjectures are all equivalent, is not covered.
