Abstract: This is a continuation of the talk on September 19, 2014. We shall define Verma modules over locally finite Lie algebras satisfying some specific conditions and then discuss the properties of these modules. The main objects of interest will be the Verma modules over the direct-limit Lie algebra 𝔤𝔩_∞ with its standard Borel subalgebras. The conditions under which a Verma module is of finite length will be given.
