Abstract: D. Hilhorst, R. van der Hout, M. Mimura and I. Ohnishi (HHMO) have derived the fast reaction limit of the Keller-Rubinow model for Liesegang rings. They proved the existence of the solution but the question about the uniqueness is still open. We will provide some results on the uniqueness of this model and on a simplified version thereof.
