Abstract: The variability of the westerly winds over the tropical Pacific has been observed for many years. It has been in the concept of westerly wind burst (WWBs) since 1975. They have a link with El-Nino events so they are more widely researched in this area. In this talk, I will show some results about WWBs having three different idealized Gaussian structure.
