Abstract: I will talk about Newton's method to find roots of polynomials of fixed degree. I have significant news from the practical point of view, and especially about speed of convergence, which I want to share with the group. It could be that I have the fastest algorithm now! I will present a few numerical observations and conjectures that we should look at and explain.
