Abstract: The HHMO model (D. Hilhorst, R. van der Hout, M. Mimura , I. Ohnishi) is one dimensional limit of the Keller-Rubinow model for the Liesegang rings phenomenon. In my talk I will give a very short introduction to the phenomenon and the HHMO model/equation. I will concentrate about the issues of the uniqueness of the HHMO equation and one approach via some functional equation to estimate the behaviour and the uniqueness of that equation.
