John H. Conway Receives Honorary Doctorate

On graduation day, June 5, 2015, John H. Conway receives an Honorary Doctorate from Jacobs University.

For his outstanding achievements
in many areas of mathematics
for his unexpected insights and discoveries,
which include the discovery of more numbers
and more games than anyone else,
and for his artful and inspiring communication
of mathematics in his books, papers, and personal
presentations, and in grateful recognition of
his active and sustained contributions to the
mathematical community at Jacobs University
and in Bremen-at-large.
