The school is held in English: participants are expected to
have solid working command of English. Limited support on (English)
mathematical terminology will be offered in selected languages.
The school is generously supported by VolkswagenStiftung and Clay
Mathematics Institute. The nominal contribution for participants is
€400; this includes accommodation, meals, scientific program,
and excursion. We have generous (partial) fellowships available:
nobody should be excluded for financial reasons! Limited support for
travel expenses may be available in exceptional cases.
Application Process
Generate your application cover sheet by filling in
the online application form. To help our
planning, we ask you to do this as early as possible.
Submit the application cover sheet, your answers to the supplementary
questions, and all applicable supplementary documents either by
email (replying to the mail you obtain when you generate the cover
sheet online) or by fax to +49-421-200-493210.
All participants are required to read and sign
the Participation Agreement.
Participants under the age of 18 must also have the parents or legal
guardians sign the Parental Consent section on this form.
Complete applications must be received by May 4, 2011. Letters of
recommendation and certificates of English proficiency may be provided
by the recommender directly by fax or email
to mathschoolapply@jacobs-university.de.
